A depiction of the sign banned by Officer Cheeks

"This used to be America," argued a protester outside a health-care town hall meeting in Reston, Va., after a police officer threatened him with arrest for holding up a sign with a picture critical of Barack Obama.

The officer's response?

"It ain't no more, OK?"

A video of the town hall held earlier this week by Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., shows an unnamed protester standing on school grounds carrying a sign that read "Organizing for National Socialist Health Care – The Final Solution" and depicted Barack Obama in the Joker's makeup.

Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. then told the protester that even though others were holding signs, his sign was unacceptable because of the depiction of Obama.

"But you got this with a picture," Cheeks said, explaining why the protester was being singled out from the others. "That's the difference. This has got a picture on it. That don't have a picture on it.

"Sir, leave the picture down," the officer said. "If you put the picture back up, you'll be charged with trespassing."

Video of the exchange can be seen below:

Well, what do YOU think? Are we heading towards facism, socialism ... or? President Obama , what have you done to MY COUNTRY?

American Dream turns Nighmare ....

Where is the American Dream?

As a proud American I retired as a Paramedic and a firefighter. I love my country and our way of life. Who is this man ... President Obama and where did he really come from ... some people asked for change .... Listen up Democrats ... is this the change you want? Do you want our democratic way of life to be turned socialism or facism?

Take a look at this meeting in Tampa Florida ... Americans are waking up and are getting mad ... we are being sold out to ??? These folks are not radicals ... they are our brothers and sisters, our Moms and Dads and our grandparents ... this is what REAL AMERICANS want!

Rep. Kathy Castor's Aug. 6 town hall meeting in Tampa, Fla., ended abruptly after 1,500 citizens attempted to enter an event intended to hold approximately 250 people.

Hundreds of people remained outside, many of whom had been waiting for hours to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, seats remained empty inside while SEIU workers and other attendees distributed flyers and signs for the Democrat health care plan to audience members.

One woman outside shouted, "This was supposed to be a town hall meeting. Last time I checked, those were open to the public."

Finally, some attendees were allowed in, but hundreds waited in line with signs outside.

Castor left 15 minutes into the meeting. Just outside the meeting room, constituents chanted, "You work for us," "Tyranny, tyranny'' and "Read the bill."

A businessman with a shredded shirt reported to police that staffers attacked him, twisting his arm and tearing his watch off. Another, he claims, grabbed him by the neck and tore his shirt.

"I just came to listen and see what I'm missing about this health care thing because it doesn't make sense to me," he told a reporter.

Castor later said the event has strengthened her resolve to promote health care reform.

"It has strengthened my resolve to stand up for families and seniors," Castor told reporters for Tampa Bay Online. "Floridians are bearing a great burden in health care costs, more than almost any other state."

A video of the crowd outside the event can be seen below:

As Rep. Kathy Castor was introduced, the reaction was overwhelmingly against her, with boos and chants of "You work for us." And in the lobby, the counter of Planned Parenthood representatives shouting, "Healthcare Now."

Shortly thereafter, violence erupted, where there were 2-3 big goons came out and started pushing those in line, and roughing up one in the corner (see top left screen) as well as another being put in a choke hold. Directly in front of the gentleman in the plaid type shirt, is one of them in a flower print. (eleven o'clock from the camera phone in the scene.) To right of the phone, another in a white shirt. Keep your eye on him, as he then goes for the choke hold on one of the people.

Deep in the corner of your upper left screen, there's a gentleman in a green shirt, whose is getting roughed up, as these two are pushing others. A police officer enters the seen, (Dark blue uniform, short, and a black officer.) You still see the gentleman getting roughed up. The cop not doing anything. They then let the guy go, as they slam the door shut. Later in the video, you see the officer conversing with the gentleman who got roughed. After a brief description from myself, the cop walks away.
